
Territory Sales Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Pennsylvania.
• Meet specific sales targets for new equipment and aftermarket components within the designated region.
• Manage sales initiatives throughout the complete sales process, including prospecting, presentations, quotations, negotiations, and closures.
• Travel extensively throughout the coverage area.
• Collaborate with GK Industry Directors, Component Sales Managers, Engineering, and other departments to deliver competitive and precise proposals.
• Engage with external manufacturer representatives to qualify leads and enhance the prospect and customer pipeline.
• Identify GK solutions, equipment, and aftermarket sales opportunities.
• Develop product specifications to support the overall design integrity of GK offerings.
• Monitor market acceptance of products concerning quality, pricing, performance, and sustainability.
• Prepare reports that include recommendations and findings.
• Conduct sales presentations and participate in industry-specific trade shows.
• Supervise and collaborate with team members to enhance Sales Department operations.
• Maintain weekly communication with the North American Sales Manager and provide a quarterly regional strategic plan.
• Support the Company’s ISO objectives, policies, procedures, and the GK WAY program.
• Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering (BSME) or equivalent experience.
• 3-5 years of experience in mechanical engineering design is preferred.
• Experience in the material handling, manufacturing industry, or vibratory equipment is preferred.
• Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings.
• Working knowledge of CAD is preferred.
• Experience in capital equipment sales is a plus.
• Previous corporate/key account management experience is a plus.
• Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational abilities.
