This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Maryland, +2 more states.
• Identify and cultivate a network for new business prospects and referrals.
• Generate sales leads within the designated territory and conduct necessary follow-ups.
• Pinpoint decision-makers among targeted leads to initiate the sales process.
• Work in conjunction with Wholesale Leadership on strategic initiatives aimed at boosting sales.
• Negotiate sales agreements with a closing rate of 70% or higher.
• Participate in sales group meetings focused on sales targets and forecasts.
• Provide updates on market conditions in the assigned territory.
• Manage cancellations or modifications to sales orders and relay changes to relevant departments.
• Collaborate with customer service regarding order statuses to ensure timely delivery to clients.
• Keep detailed records of sales calls, contacts, and meetings.
• Regularly report to the VP of Wholesale Sales.
• Attend industry conferences to enhance expertise, expand networks, and keep abreast of industry trends.
• Carry out additional responsibilities as assigned.
• Drive the conversion of leads, increase order volume, and enhance revenue performance in line with plans.
• Must be located in Virginia, Maryland, Delaware, or Pennsylvania.
• Three to four years of proven sales experience, ideally in high-end furniture, home furnishings, or luxury goods.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Strong organizational skills with a focus on achieving results.
• Self-motivated and capable of working independently.
• Outstanding interpersonal and negotiation skills.
• Ability to establish and manage priorities effectively.
• Proficient in cold-calling sales techniques.
• Proven sales history with a high closing conversion ratio.
• A four-year bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution is preferred.
