
Territory Marketing Manager – Workers' Compensation

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Florida.
• Oversee the distribution network within a designated territory
• Identify potential agencies, schedule meetings, nurture relationships, and terminate agreements when required
• Educate agents on Zenith’s underwriting preferences, capabilities, strengths, products, services, systems, tools, and procedures
• Influence the submission process with agents to ensure favorable hit ratios and effective partnerships
• Collaboratively manage the sales processes for new and renewal business alongside underwriting and other departments
• Uphold pricing and selection standards
• Pursue profitable growth and enhance customer experience opportunities
• Analyze competitors and gather local competitive insights
• Supervise assigned agents and territory, including agency representation, administration, contracts, coding, tiering, compensation, and contact details
• Create business plans, pipelines, qualified prospects, niches, and books of business
• Prequalify submissions and advocate for the small business plan
• Establish Zenith as the preferred market for agents and prospects
• Support agents in selling programs and services, including collaborative policyholder presentations
• Address customer or service issues that impede sales
• Monitor agency performance and adapt agency strategies accordingly
• Inform agents about Zenith products, capabilities, branding, and value proposition
• Conduct agency orientations, training sessions, and joint sales calls
• Target emerging producers and agency personnel
• Promote the Zenith brand through industry, agency, policyholder, and association events
• Enhance agency and policyholder experiences by identifying and resolving service obstacles
• Assist underwriting and other departments in addressing policyholder concerns
• Cultivate relationships with agents, policyholders, targeted associations, and Zenith staff and management
• High School Diploma or an equivalent combination of training and experience
• Bachelor’s Degree or an equivalent combination of training and experience
• Over 5 years of experience in the insurance industry, including expertise in the workers' compensation product line and basic underwriting
• More than 5 years of experience in sales and/or customer-facing roles, including maintaining and expanding a book of business
• Exceptional communication abilities
• Proficient in presenting ideas clearly in both formal and informal settings
• Comfortable delivering public presentations
• Positive, upbeat, and enthusiastic demeanor
• Proven track record in sales
• Team-oriented
• Demonstrated skills in influence management
