This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Australia.
• Propel sales expansion and enhance Edwards’ market presence from Brisbane, focusing on Brisbane South and the Gold Coast.
• Oversee essential customer relationships.
• Discover and secure new business opportunities.
• Offer clinical knowledge in structural heart therapies.
• Act as the primary liaison within the Surgical Structural Heart business unit for the designated territory and/or customer base.
• Establish and nurture strong, enduring relationships with clients and other stakeholders in the assigned area.
• Identify and develop new business opportunities with current customers.
• Recognize improvement opportunities to achieve sales objectives.
• Create and implement short-term regional plans to fulfill regional goals.
• Execute additional incidental responsibilities as needed.
• A Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant field.
• A minimum of 3 years of progressive experience in medical device sales.
• Prior experience with structural heart devices or surgical implants.
• Established knowledge and network within the territory to be served.
• Comprehensive understanding of the strengths and weaknesses of both own and competing products.
• Familiarity with BU strategy, selling model, medical devices industry, and the selling landscape in the assigned region.
• Develops insights into assigned accounts and their specific challenges.
• Strong grasp of cardiovascular anatomy, pathology, and physiology relevant to EW medical products as they pertain to the business.
• Capability to prioritize competing tasks in a dynamic environment.
• Meticulous attention to detail.
• Comprehends customer needs and articulates EW product advantages compared to competitors' offerings.
• Cultivates productive internal and external partnerships and maintains ongoing interactions with pertinent customer contacts.
• Employs influencing skills in purchasing decisions with tact and diplomacy.
• Complies with all company policies and regulations, including pandemic protocols and Environmental Health & Safety guidelines, while implementing adequate control measures to prevent injuries and safeguard the environment.
