This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United Kingdom.
• Create and implement territory and account strategies that drive revenue growth, enhance market reach, and solidify Abbott’s standing with key clients.
• Cultivate impactful relationships with clinicians, procurement teams, commercial leaders, and other decision-makers within assigned accounts.
• Deliver credible technical and therapeutic support, assisting healthcare professionals in appreciating the clinical significance and proper application of Abbott technologies.
• Leverage market insights, account intelligence, and analytical sales tools to pinpoint opportunities, mitigate risks, and effectively prioritize activities.
• Represent Abbott with professionalism, integrity, and a customer-centric approach, ensuring that every interaction enhances trust in the Abbott brand.
• Comprehend local healthcare dynamics, competitor actions, reimbursement factors, Trust frameworks, procurement processes, and customer priorities to develop focused account plans.
• Employ consultative selling techniques, SWOT analysis, SMART objectives, segmentation strategies, discovery planning, and weekly call planning to establish a robust pipeline and meet territory sales goals.
• Identify decision-making networks, engage key influencers, manage KOL relationships, and present persuasive value propositions customized to the needs of clinical, commercial, and patient stakeholders.
• Maintain comprehensive knowledge of Abbott therapies, products, clinical practices, evidence-based medicine, regulatory standards, quality requirements, and business policies.
• Offer both practical and theoretical support to healthcare professionals and Abbott colleagues, confidently addressing customer-specific inquiries and requests.
• Gather and disseminate account intelligence, customer feedback, competitive insights, and emerging business development prospects with the broader sales and marketing teams.
• Keep precise territory records, forecasts, reports, and account documentation to facilitate business planning and performance management.
• Collaborate closely with Sales Managers, marketing colleagues, educators, functional specialists, and the broader country sales team, while actively pursuing coaching and continuous learning.
• Operate ethically, adhering to Abbott policies, the Abbott Code of Business Conduct, customer expectations, and relevant legal, regulatory, and quality standards.
• Strong commercial acumen.
• Self-motivated and highly collaborative.
• Degree level qualification is essential; a Master's degree or PhD in a relevant field (e.g., health economics) is preferred.
• Experience in sales within the Healthcare field or Clinical experience in a Cath Lab environment.
• Preferable detailed knowledge of the healthcare landscape.
