
National Account Manager – Electrical Distribution

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Oversee designated electrical distribution accounts, taking responsibility for achieving sales and profitability targets.
• Formulate and implement annual business plans alongside distributor partners to enhance sales growth and increase market share.
• Ensure precise forecasting, maintain pipeline visibility, and engage in account planning activities.
• Foster productive relationships with distributor sales teams, product managers, procurement experts, branch leadership, and operations staff.
• Collaborate closely with field sales teams to enhance alignment and improve execution within the assigned distributors.
• Aid in the implementation of channel programs, promotions, training initiatives, and marketing strategies.
• Cultivate a deep understanding of distributor go-to-market strategies, category management practices, and sales processes.
• Evaluate POS, inventory, bookings, and market performance data to uncover business opportunities and potential risks.
• Conduct regular business assessments with assigned partners to measure performance against growth targets.
• Keep track of customer, market, and competitor activities, sharing insights with leadership.
• Leverage AI-driven productivity and analytics tools to enhance account management efficiency.
• Work with internal teams to address customer concerns and enhance overall distributor satisfaction.
• Promote the adoption of company initiatives aimed at boosting sales effectiveness and customer engagement.
• At least 3 years of experience in sales, account management, channel management, or distribution.
• Preferred experience with distributors in electrical, industrial, construction, safety, HVAC, or industrial supply sectors.
• Excellent relationship-building and communication skills.
• Proven ability to manage multiple priorities while executing business objectives effectively.
• Familiarity with sales analytics, forecasting, CRM systems, and business planning methodologies.
• Capability to analyze business performance metrics and convert insights into actionable plans.
• Comfort in collaborating with various functional teams including marketing, sales, operations, and product management.
• Willingness to travel up to 25% of the time.
• Strong problem-solving, organizational, and project management abilities.
• Experience with AI-assisted productivity and analytics tools is advantageous.
• A Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering, or a related field is preferred.
