This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Ohio.
• Support Abbott's MitraClip Structural Heart division in a field-based Territory Manager role.
• Ensure that the designated territory meets or surpasses sales targets.
• Collaborate with the Regional Director to recognize and assess market opportunities and sales potential.
• Set and accomplish annual sales goals.
• Coordinate efforts with clinical consultants and negotiate contracts with external clients.
• Monitor market trends and competitive activities.
• Schedule sales meetings with existing and prospective customers to achieve revenue and unit growth targets.
• Formulate and execute sales strategies for hospital accounts and healthcare providers.
• Analyze sales data and reports to create weekly, monthly, and quarterly action plans.
• Identify key accounts, healthcare professionals, and clinical requirements.
• Observe procedures in hospital laboratories and operating rooms.
• Develop customer-specific pricing packages in accordance with company policies.
• Build relationships with hospitals and identify key purchasing decision-makers.
• Provide training for customers, conduct VIP trips, orientations, launches, and updates.
• Participate in trade shows, educational conferences, and seminars.
• Educate clients on proper clinical usage through presentations and demonstrations.
• Maintain clinical and technical expertise through ongoing product training.
• Evaluate managed care trends, competitor approaches, and new product innovations.
• Prepare and submit reports to sales management.
• BS/BA degree or equivalent professional experience.
• Over 7 years of relevant cardiovascular work experience.
• More than 5 years of experience in sales of Structural Heart or Heart Failure implantable devices.
• Verification of meeting all vendor credentialing requirements, which may include COVID-19 vaccination.
• A degree in Life Sciences or Marketing is preferred.
• A strong orientation towards sales and clinical practice is preferred.
• Experience with products used in interventional cardiology and cardiac surgery is preferred.
• Familiarity with echocardiology and other indirect imaging techniques is preferred.
• Willingness to travel 50% of the time.
