This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Kansas, +1 more state.
• Serve as a field-based Territory Manager for Abbott’s MitraClip Structural Heart division.
• Achieve or surpass sales targets within the designated Kansas City and Springfield territory.
• Collaborate with the Regional Director to identify and assess market opportunities and sales potential.
• Set and meet annual sales targets.
• Coordinate with clinical consultants and negotiate contracts with external clients.
• Monitor market trends and competitive activities.
• Schedule sales visits with existing and prospective clients to meet revenue and unit growth targets.
• Develop and execute account sales strategies based on product offerings, competition, and pricing requirements.
• Analyze sales data and reports to formulate actionable plans.
• Identify key accounts, healthcare professionals, and the clinical needs of customers.
• Observe procedures in hospital labs and operating rooms.
• Establish pricing packages tailored to customers within company guidelines.
• Cultivate relationships with hospital staff and pinpoint purchasing decision-makers.
• Deliver customer training, orientations, product launches, updates, and sales support.
• Participate in trade shows, educational conferences, and seminars.
• Provide education to customers through presentations and product demonstrations.
• Attend company-sponsored product training sessions.
• Bachelor’s degree (BS/BA) or equivalent professional experience.
• A minimum of 5 years of experience in cardiovascular-related fields.
• At least 3 years of sales experience with Structural Heart or Heart Failure implantable devices.
• Confirmation that all vendor credentialing prerequisites, which may include COVID-19 vaccination, are met.
• Strong orientation towards sales and clinical practices.
• Experience with products utilized in interventional cardiology and cardiac surgery.
• Preferred familiarity with echocardiology and other indirect imaging techniques.
• Willingness to travel up to 50% of the time.
• Capacity to observe procedures in hospital labs and operating rooms.
• Must maintain clinical and technical knowledge through ongoing product training.
