This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Louisiana.
• Develop and enhance sales within the OR Business Unit across both current and prospective accounts.
• Conduct sales calls to surgeons, operating room management, nursing staff, and administrative personnel.
• Articulate the advantages of CooperSurgical products for surgical practices and operating rooms.
• Compile and present comprehensive weekly and monthly sales and activity reports to the Regional Manager in a timely manner.
• Strategize and implement the sales plan to meet sales and business objectives within the designated territory.
• Complete training on products and surgical applications, pass interim and final assessments, and showcase the necessary clinical and product knowledge.
• Exhibit proper assembly, usage, clinical application, and maintenance of instrumentation.
• Educate physicians, nursing staff, and cleaning and sterilization teams on the correct use and upkeep of products.
• Keep up-to-date training certifications and necessary medical documentation.
• Travel and operate independently, including overnight trips as required within the assigned territory.
• Carry out additional responsibilities as assigned by management.
• Bachelor's Degree from an accredited institution.
• 1–3 years of verified sales experience, ideally within the hospital/OR setting.
• Proven track record of increasing sales in previous roles.
• Positive responses from both business and personal references.
• Medical documentation and a solid health profile to meet customer requirements within the territory.
• A valid driver's license.
• Openness to travel and work independently, including necessary overnight travel.
• Fulfillment of product and surgical application training prerequisites.
• Successful completion of interim and final evaluations.
• Current certification in Operating Room Protocol for Health Care Representatives, Exposure to Bloodborne Pathogens, and HIPAA regulations as required.
• Capability to demonstrate clinical and product knowledge as well as proper instrumentation assembly, use, clinical application, and maintenance.
• Skill in training physicians, nursing staff, and cleaning and sterilization personnel.
