This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in North Carolina.
• Meet individual sales targets for your designated territory as set by the Esperion Commercial Leadership team.
• Analyze performance metrics in collaboration with the Regional Sales Manager to enhance sales outcomes in your territory.
• Establish and nurture business relationships with key clients within your assigned area.
• Promote and provide education to Healthcare Providers about Esperion products through approved meetings, virtual interactions, speaker programs, and various initiatives.
• Assess local market trends and create, implement, and track performance initiatives.
• Utilize sales and marketing tools and resources to meet business objectives.
• Stay informed about Esperion product payer coverage to achieve market access goals.
• Participate in local, regional, and national congresses to advocate for Esperion brands.
• Complete administrative responsibilities such as managing sample inventory, submitting calls and reports, handling expense management, and tracking vehicle mileage.
• Ensure adherence to corporate policies, procedures, training, and company values.
• Follow expense-reporting guidelines and stay within the designated territory budget.
• Communicate and collaborate with Regional Sales Managers and Territory Managers to maximize the potential of your territory.
• Monitor alignment between Sales and Marketing efforts and implement business initiatives effectively.
• Collaborate with sales leadership and Market Access teams to maximize pull-through from both commercial and government payers.
• Maintain vendor credentialing requirements for access to customer locations.
• Undertake additional duties and responsibilities as assigned.
• A Bachelor’s degree is required; a degree in sciences such as Biology, Chemistry, Physics, Kinesiology, Pre-med, or another STEM field is preferred.
• 1–3 years of experience in pharmaceutical or relevant sales, or equivalent education and experience.
• Military experience or similar backgrounds that demonstrate motivation and discipline will be considered.
• Previous experience working with or calling on Healthcare Professionals is preferred but not mandatory.
• Willingness and ability to travel up to 30%, which includes overnight stays for territory business and occasional regional and national sales meetings.
• A valid driver’s license and a clean driving record that meets Esperion's employment standards.
• A proven track record of consistent high performance in sales, academics, athletics, or similar activities.
• A desire to thrive in a start-up environment or prior experience in an entrepreneurial sales model.
• Capability to take sole charge of product promotion across a large geographic area.
