This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.
• Promote and implement sales strategies for authorized Esperion products to targeted clients within the designated region.
• Carry out all facets of personal promotion within the assigned territory.
• Adhere to Esperion's sales processes utilizing approved sales and marketing resources.
• Meet individual sales objectives for the assigned territory.
• Review performance metrics in collaboration with the Regional Sales Manager.
• Cultivate and sustain business relationships with key customers.
• Educate and inform Healthcare Providers through one-on-one meetings, virtual interactions, speaker programs, and approved initiatives.
• Analyze local market dynamics and monitor performance to optimize appropriate product usage.
• Leverage sales and marketing tools and resources to fulfill business objectives.
• Stay informed about product payer coverage and achieve market access goals.
• Attend local, regional, and national congresses.
• Complete administrative responsibilities, including sample inventory management, call reporting, expense tracking, and vehicle mileage documentation.
• Ensure compliance with corporate policies, procedures, and training requirements.
• Manage territory expenses and budget effectively.
• Communicate with Regional Sales Managers and Territory Managers to oversee performance.
• Coordinate Sales and Marketing efforts while implementing business initiatives.
• Collaborate with sales leadership and Market Access to enhance payer pull-through.
• Maintain vendor credentialing requirements for customer-location access.
• Report directly to the Regional Sales Manager.
• Bachelor’s degree required, preferably in scientific disciplines such as Biology, Chemistry, Physics, Kinesiology, Pre-med, or another STEM field.
• 1–3 years of pharmaceutical or relevant sales experience, or equivalent education and experience.
• Military background or similar experience demonstrating motivation and discipline is considered an asset.
• Experience engaging with Healthcare Professionals is preferred but not mandatory.
• Willingness and ability to travel up to 30%, including overnight stays for territory-related business and occasional Regional and National Sales Meetings.
• Valid driver's license and a clean driving record that meets Esperion's employment standards.
• Proven track record of consistent high performance in sales, academics, athletics, or related fields.
• Enthusiasm for working in a start-up environment or a successful history in an entrepreneurial sales model.
• Capability to operate independently in promoting products across a large geographic territory.
• Ability to thrive in a performance-driven and growth-oriented culture.
