This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Minnesota.
β’ Promote and distribute Orthofix products and services to meet or exceed established sales quotas.
β’ Offer direct, personalized, and prompt consultative services to physicians, patients, managed care, and other payers.
β’ Deliver education and support at both local and national hospital accounts.
β’ Attend local, state, and national meetings and conventions as necessary.
β’ Identify new target accounts while nurturing existing relationships with physicians and third-party payers.
β’ Train medical staff and patients on the proper usage and maintenance of Orthofix products.
β’ Continuously enhance technical and sales skills.
β’ Prepare reports and implement programs and policies as directed by the Regional VP of Sales and the National VP of Sales.
β’ Provide prompt service and problem-solving assistance to clinicians and patients.
β’ Complete and submit the required paperwork to finalize sales orders.
β’ Oversee Associate Territory Managers, if applicable, on a daily basis.
β’ Travel within the assigned territory is expected to be approximately 90% of the time.
β’ Candidates must reside in the St. Paul/Minneapolis Territory market.
β’ Previous medical experience engaging with both physician offices and hospitals is advantageous.
β’ Proven track record of success in sales within the managed health care or third-party payer sector is a plus.
β’ Ability to communicate effectively, demonstrating poise, thoughtful insight, sound judgment, and decision-making skills.
β’ Capability to present information to both individuals and larger groups.
β’ Strong technical competence in product knowledge and surgical procedures is beneficial.
β’ Ability to provide management with guidance on policy and procedural matters.
β’ A Bachelor's degree is preferred.
β’ Must be capable of lifting and transporting products and literature multiple times each day.
β’ Lifting capacity should be approximately 20β30 pounds.
β’ Travel within the territory by plane, car, etc., is required about 90% of the time.
β’ A valid driver's license and proof of insurance are mandatory for travel by car.
