Territory Manager II

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Kansas, +1 more state.

📋 Description

• Oversee a team of more than 45 employees, including a TM1, while promptly addressing customer opportunities, concerns, and complaints.

• Provide leadership and guidance for mentoring the TM1 as well as all direct and indirect reports.

• Cultivate relationships with internal customers and offer advice on service delivery, maintenance agreements, and SLAs.

• Conduct root-cause analysis and implement preventive strategies for recurring escalation scenarios.

• Address escalations stemming from resource challenges, including disciplinary matters and soft-skills development.

• Manage hiring processes and oversee performance improvement initiatives.

• Offer coaching and counseling to team members.

• Monitor expenses, finance, overtime, employee-related costs, physical assets, tools, test equipment, vehicles, and service parts.

• Set goals and perform quarterly and annual performance evaluations.

• Organize vacation and training schedules.

• Maintain ongoing communication with planners and coordinators.

• Hold regular individual and team meetings.

⛳️ Requirements

• High school diploma or GED (Bachelor’s degree preferred; equivalent experience or a combination of education and experience may be considered on an exception basis).

• Five to eight years of experience in hardware and/or software support.

• Prior experience as a group, team, or project leader, or in a supervisory/leadership role within technical services or support is preferred.

• Local residency and living within the designated service area.

• Valid driver's license.

• Authorization to work in the U.S.

• Ability and willingness to pass a comprehensive background check, which includes credit check, criminal history, driving record, and drug screening.

• Capability to lift and transport tools and parts weighing up to 50 lbs.

• Willingness to engage in extended travel as necessary.
