Territory Manager – GI

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Drive sales performance and foster business growth within a designated geographic area.

• Create, implement, and execute a thorough territory business plan that aligns with corporate goals.

• Evaluate territory performance, market trends, customer requirements, and competitive actions to uncover growth opportunities.

• Manage territory accounts and resources to maximize return on investment.

• Utilize CRM systems, sales analytics, and other data to refine targeting, call planning, and territory execution.

• Meet or surpass assigned sales targets and performance objectives.

• Build and sustain relationships with healthcare professionals, key accounts, pharmacies, health systems, and additional stakeholders.

• Engage with physicians, nurse practitioners, physician assistants, nurses, pharmacists, office personnel, and other healthcare decision-makers.

• Present clinically accurate product information tailored to the needs of customers.

• Implement promotional programs, educational initiatives, speaker events, and follow-up activities.

• Ensure high levels of customer service and responsiveness to facilitate long-term account growth.

• Enhance knowledge of Azurity products, disease states, clinical information, and market dynamics.

• Communicate intricate clinical information accurately across various customer environments.

• Keep track of competitor activities, treatment guidelines, payer changes, and industry trends.

• Complete necessary training and broaden product, market, and selling expertise.

• Conduct activities in a compliant, ethical, and professional manner.

• Maintain CRM documentation and manage territory expenses within approved budgets.

• Collaborate with sales leadership and cross-functional teams to achieve results.


⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's degree is required.

• A minimum of 2 years of proven sales experience is necessary.

• A demonstrated history of meeting or exceeding sales targets is essential.

• Ability to work independently while managing a territory and key customer relationships.

• Strong business acumen and strategic planning abilities are required.

• Outstanding verbal, written, presentation, and interpersonal communication skills are essential.

• Capacity to effectively communicate clinical and scientific information.

• Strong organizational, analytical, and time-management skills are necessary.

• Experience with CRM platforms such as Veeva, Salesforce, or similar systems is preferred.

• Proficient in Microsoft Office, including Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.

• A valid driver's license with a satisfactory driving record is required.

• Willingness to travel as necessary, including overnight and air travel.

• Physical capability to sit for extended periods, frequently stand, walk, talk, and/or hear; occasionally climb stairs or use elevators; occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds; and operate keyboards, telephones, and handheld devices.

• Experience in pharmaceutical or healthcare sales is preferred.

• Specialty pharmaceutical experience is desirable.

• Experience working with Gastroenterology, Primary Care, Obesity Medicine, Endocrinology, Neurology, or other relevant specialties is preferred.

• Familiarity with local and regional health systems, payer dynamics, and specialty pharmacy channels is advantageous.

• A proven record of top sales performance and recognition is preferred.
