This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Missouri.
• Meet or surpass sales targets while managing the designated territory on a daily basis.
• Interact directly with epileptologists, neurologists, neuroscientists, physicians, clinicians, patients, and their families concerning VNS Therapy.
• Foster therapy advocates and create physician targeting strategies to enhance DRE care.
• Identify obstacles to the adoption of VNS Therapy and formulate strategies to address them.
• Establish and nurture productive professional relationships with customers.
• Develop value propositions with surgeons to ensure adequate surgical capacity.
• Provide education to referring physicians, fellows, residents, clinic staff, patients, and families about DRE treatments and VNS Therapy.
• Conduct onsite product demonstrations, offer post-implant education, and deliver product and technical support.
• Offer onsite surgical case coverage, follow-up assistance, troubleshooting, and dosing-appointment support.
• Monitor account performance, identify challenges, mitigate risks, manage inventory, negotiate pricing, and secure orders.
• Collaborate with case management to assist patients in navigating their journey to VNS Therapy.
• Facilitate weekly meetings for the territory team and physician targeting.
• Implement routing and targeted calling strategies.
• Accurately complete administrative tasks within established deadlines.
• Report to the Regional Manager and undertake other responsibilities as assigned by management.
• A minimum of 3 to 5 years of successful sales experience in the medical field, ideally in a consultative role such as medical device or pharmaceutical sales.
• A strong work ethic and a resilient focus on achieving results.
• Ability to cultivate solid, value-based relationships with physicians.
• Capability to interact with patients in a clinical setting.
• Strong process orientation and proven experience in resource management and allocation.
• Proficient in multitasking effectively.
• Ability to analyze trends and data, translating information into actionable insights and improvements.
• Self-motivated and an independent thinker who can work autonomously.
• Strong interpersonal skills with a proven track record of teamwork and collaboration.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with customers and patients at all levels.
• Creative problem-solving abilities.

• Bachelor’s degree in life sciences, nursing, allied health, or business preferred.
• Must reside within the geographic area of the territory.
• Willingness to travel extensively, 40% or more of the time.
• Annual base salary ranging from $85,000 to $100,000, plus commission.
