Territory Manager - Dust Control

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Arizona.

📋 Description

• Sustain and expand sales within both existing and new customer accounts focused on dust control in the mining sector to meet annual profit and revenue objectives.

• Ensure that Midwest establishes strong and lasting relationships at various organizational tiers within client companies to foster long-term sales partnerships.

• Cultivate and maintain robust relationships with current clients in the mining industry and other assigned sectors.

• Frequently visit client locations to confirm satisfaction and address any issues that may arise.

• Deliver outstanding customer service by quickly responding to client inquiries, resolving problems, and providing technical support as necessary.

• Participate in operational cluster calls to assist in managing daily operational challenges.

• Collaborate with other departments to fulfill the needs of all customers effectively.

• Meet sales and profitability objectives in alignment with Midwest's Strategy Deployment.

• Formulate and execute sales strategies to drive revenue growth.

• Identify new business prospects within the designated region and escalate these opportunities to the General Manager Mining.

• Prepare and present proposals and quotes to clients.

• Effectively negotiate contracts and finalize sales agreements.

• Maintain comprehensive knowledge of Midwest's products and services.

• Keep informed about industry trends, technological advancements, and competitor offerings.

• Conduct product demonstrations and training sessions to ensure clients effectively utilize the products.

• Inform clients about the features and advantages of Midwest's products.

• Keep accurate and current records of sales activities, client interactions, and progress toward sales goals within the Midwest CRM system.

• Perform market research to identify trends, opportunities, and potential threats.

• Provide insights and recommendations to the General Manager Mining based on market assessments.


⛳️ Requirements

• High School diploma or higher.

• 1-2 years of experience in a customer service role managing large customer accounts valued at $500k or more.

• 2-5 years of familiarity with hard rock mining is preferred, particularly concerning the principal processes used to extract and process mining ores.
