This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in North Carolina.
• Identify and assist in the development of real-world data requirements that align with strategic goals.
• Analyze, comprehend, and convey essential data needs to both internal Labcorp teams and prospective external partners.
• Observe trends in the industry, regulations, customer behavior, and innovation to guide strategic modifications.
• Lead the identification and assessment of potential data sources to ensure datasets are suitable, accessible, functional, and capable of ensuring a return on investment.
• Discover new data sources to fill product gaps and meet emerging customer demands.
• Collaborate with teams from data integration, product management, technical solutions, commercial sectors, IT, Enterprise Architecture, Security, and Data Governance.
• Assist in vendor qualification and the technical evaluation of data.
• Foster relationships with internal teams to identify both existing and emerging data sources.
• Highlight potential conflicts of interest and strategic opportunities with data partners.
• Ensure that data and processes adhere to global data governance frameworks and ethical standards.
• Identify and enhance AI tools to optimize operational models and frameworks.
• Facilitate meetings and provide updates with both internal and external data partners.
• Spearhead process enhancements and tool development for partner identification, onboarding, and management.
• Maintain detailed documentation of opportunities using Smartsheet, Excel, and other tools.
• Prepare summary reports and dashboards for stakeholders.
• Act as the primary contact between Labcorp's Real World Data team and data partners.
• Communicate Labcorp's real-world data requirements and lead interactions for partnership evaluations.
• Collaborate with legal, regulatory, compliance, and data governance stakeholders on partnership agreements and contracts.
• Oversee the onboarding of data partners and establish communication channels and schedules.
• Review current data partnerships and suggest areas for improvement.
• Identify, assess, and onboard strategic data sources and partnerships that support Labcorp's Real World Data portfolio.
• Aid in the development of innovative data products that address evolving customer requirements.
• High school diploma or GED with at least 7 years of experience in data partnerships, alliance management, real-world data, healthcare data, or life sciences; or an Associate degree with a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience; or a Bachelor's degree in Science, Business, Healthcare, Data Analytics, or Information Systems with at least 3 years of relevant experience.
• A minimum of 3 years of experience in supporting data partnerships, alliance management, vendor management, or strategic partnerships within the life sciences, healthcare, or real-world data sectors.
• At least 3 years of experience in developing, negotiating, implementing, or managing third-party partnership agreements.
• A minimum of 3 years of experience working with data management tools, systems, or technologies.
• Understanding of Real World Data, Real World Evidence, and the healthcare or life sciences sectors.
• Familiarity with HIPAA, data privacy laws, and data governance principles.
• Exceptional verbal, written, presentation, and interpersonal communication skills.
• Proven ability to build and maintain effective relationships with both internal and external stakeholders.
• Proficient in conveying complex information clearly and effectively.
• Strong skills in planning, prioritization, multitasking, and organization.
• Excellent attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Capability to establish and maintain tracking, reporting, and documentation processes.
• Strong analytical, critical thinking, and decision-making abilities.
• Competence in identifying issues, evaluating options, and recommending effective solutions.
• Ability to work independently in a remote setting.
• Demonstrated teamwork and the ability to collaborate efficiently across functions.
