This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Australia.
• Propel business expansion and guarantee customer satisfaction within the specified territory.
• Implement sales strategies, foster customer relationships, and achieve ambitious growth objectives.
• Serve as Halter’s local representative in the Wheatbelt region.
• Prioritize daily activities to enhance growth performance and deliver customer value.
• Collaborate with Product, Support, R&D, and regional sales teams to convey field insights.
• Generate new leads through outreach, referrals, industry events, inbound inquiries, and additional channels.
• Oversee the complete sales pipeline from lead generation to closing.
• Evaluate, qualify, demonstrate the product, negotiate contracts, and achieve sales goals.
• Maintain customer relationships post-sale and tackle customer challenges.
• Ensure a seamless transition from sales to customer onboarding and product deployment.
• Cultivate territory relationships with regional agricultural organizations in the beef sector.
• Take ownership or assist with the comprehensive customer onboarding and deployment experience.
• Collect customer feedback and relay field insights to Support, Product, and R&D teams.
• Collaborate with Support to address customer issues and escalate problems as necessary.
• Proven value-based sales experience with a robust track record of generating opportunities, closing deals, and establishing enduring customer relationships.
• Experience in enhancing post-sales value and upselling to expand partnerships.
• Knowledge of the beef industry or a strong passion for beef operations, coupled with a readiness to quickly learn about farm operations.
• Capability to manage a large territory while balancing sales and customer success priorities.
• Strong critical-thinking and decision-making skills for effective territory management.
• Resourcefulness and quick-thinking problem-solving skills.
• Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams to tackle challenges and drive solutions.
• Willingness to travel frequently within the territory to engage with customers and prospects.
• Reside anywhere within the Wheatbelt area of Western Australia, preferably in Northam or nearby regions.
