This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Texas.
• Take ownership of and cultivate customer relationships within a collaborative selling framework.
• Guide customers through ordering platforms and offer menu consultations, product suggestions, and pricing tactics.
• Drive sales growth by acquiring new business and increasing case volume.
• Present sales pitches and customize sales strategies for each customer.
• Efficiently manage your time and designated territory.
• Partner with Specialists to explore penetration opportunities and establish new accounts.
• Collaborate with marketing, supply chain, and customer service teams to ensure smooth product delivery.
• Identify potential customers through market intelligence databases, business directories, client leads, organizations, clubs, trade shows, and conferences.
• Coordinate deliveries in accordance with the transportation department’s scheduling.
• Address order and delivery issues, such as mis-picks, short loads, and stock-outs.
• Stay informed about market trends, product developments, and competitor offerings, pricing, and sales strategies.
• Utilize a personal vehicle for customer check-ins, site visits, and follow-ups.
• Work outdoors daily in the assigned territory, visiting customers in varying weather and temperature conditions.
• A minimum of 1 year of sales experience is preferred.
• A high school diploma or equivalent is required.
• A valid driver’s license is mandatory.
• A clean motor vehicle record is essential.
• Experience in the foodservice industry, culinary arts, restaurant management, or hospitality is preferred.
• Strong oral and written communication skills along with effective presentation capabilities.
• Ability to foster internal and external relationships and make cold calls to generate new business.
• Outstanding customer service and interpersonal skills.
• A competitive mindset and determination to surpass targets.
• Strong problem-solving, organizational, and negotiation skills.
• Capacity to collaborate with both internal and external stakeholders.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
• Familiarity with CRM tools, such as Salesforce, is an advantage.
• Ability to occasionally lift or carry up to 75 lbs.
