Territory Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Illinois, +2 more states.

📋 Description

• Drive sales expansion and enhance market presence within the designated geographic area.

• Manage relationships with dealers and enhance their capability to promote, sell, and support Salford products.

• Create account plans for dealers while identifying their developmental requirements.

• Facilitate the ordering process and provide post-sales service assistance.

• Organize field demonstrations and promotional initiatives.

• Represent Salford Inc. at trade exhibitions and industry gatherings.

• Attain sales growth targets and enhance profitability within the assigned region.

• Oversee annual budgetary expense targets.

• Assist dealerships throughout the ordering procedure.

• Work collaboratively with Service, Support, engineering, and marketing teams to resolve dealer and customer issues.

• Deliver monthly reports on activities within the territory.

• Formulate strategies and plans for territory and key dealer accounts.

• Manage the company's assigned demo tools and travel to demonstrate them within the territory.

• Maintain precise records and documentation.


⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in business administration, marketing, communications, or a related discipline.

• 5–7 years of sales experience establishing robust dealer or customer relationships.

• 3–5 years of experience in heavy equipment sales, ideally in agriculture or similar industries.

• Knowledge of the agricultural sector and its products is a plus.

• Exceptional communication and networking skills, including the ability to explain technical concepts to diverse audiences.

• Experience in developing and executing territory and account plans.

• Strong organizational and project management skills.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and Outlook.

• Experience in organizing field demonstrations or promotional events.

• Proven history of cultivating and sustaining long-term dealer or client relationships.

• Prior experience participating in trade shows or industry events is advantageous.

• Willingness to travel up to 75% of the time.

• A valid driver's license and a clean driving record are mandatory.
