This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Develop and implement sales targets and activities for a designated region and product line.
• Cultivate new accounts and enhance existing ones within a defined geographic area.
• Establish and nurture relationships with current clients.
• Identify prospective customers and foster relationships to promote assigned Varian products.
• Evaluate sales potential in the territory and devise and execute effective sales strategies.
• Ensure adequate coverage of the territory.
• Organize and carry out sales calls.
• Arrange and conduct product demonstrations.
• Oversee the sales order and quotation process.
• Act as a consultative resource for customers.
• Attain a high level of customer satisfaction.
• Provide consistent feedback from customers and the market to the company.
• Uphold Varian's ethics, values, and business practices.
• Travel is required 40–50% of the time.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent with some post-graduate education (or equivalent experience).
• 8 years of relevant experience.
• Completion of the LMS training plan specific to assigned duties and other healthcare training is mandatory.
• Proficient in email, Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• Experience with HCM (e.g., Workday) or a similar ERP product and productivity software is preferred.
• Knowledge of products and ability to conduct demonstrations.
• Familiarity with the industry.
• Strong organizational, time management, and territory management abilities.
• Demonstrated responsiveness and reliability.
• Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
• Effective presentation and selling abilities.
• Must fulfill Vendor Credentialing requirements to gain full client access, which may entail valid ID, criminal background checks, drug screenings, immunizations, and annual TB testing.
• A valid driver's license in the state of residence is required.
• Must not have prior DUI/DWI convictions, pending DUI/DWI charges, or other serious moving violations unless state/local law prohibits it.
• Must be capable of working with controlled technology in accordance with US export control laws.
