This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.
• Present and promote Merit products to both new and existing clients.
• Follow up with customers to ensure that delivered products align with their requirements.
• Conduct regular meetings with clients and accounts to showcase and explain product benefits.
• Identify prospective customers and introduce them to Merit products.
• Maintain client relationships and track product satisfaction levels.
• Seek opportunities to enhance customer satisfaction.
• Create customized drawings for clients requiring tailor-made kits or manifolds.
• Prepare and submit pricing contracts for products.
• Identify avenues to boost sales volume and profitability.
• Address manufacturing or delivery issues with clients.
• Collaborate with marketing and sales teams to ensure timely and precise product shipments.
• Stay updated on new products and relay customer feedback on product requirements and innovations.
• Make pricing decisions within authorized limits.
• Generate monthly reports detailing sales outcomes, client contacts, product-change requirements, and suggestions for procedural improvements.
• Engage in sales training and strategic planning meetings.
• Maintain awareness of Merit and competing products.
• Set and accomplish sales performance targets.
• Contribute to enhancing market share, product quality, and customer satisfaction.
• Travel by car, airplane, bus, and other means for sales responsibilities.
• Carry out additional sales-related tasks as necessary.
• Education and experience equivalent to a relevant Bachelor's Degree.
• At least five years of direct sales experience, ideally in the medical products sector.
• Ability to effectively communicate and understand the needs of others within a sales context.
• Strong personal motivation and drive.
• Excellent verbal presentation abilities.
• Capacity to think quickly, analyze challenges, and convey solutions to medical technicians and clinicians.
• Ability to learn the use of medical equipment and identify areas for enhancement.
• Capability to work effectively as part of a team.
• Proficiency in business mathematics for calculating percentages and handling financial and sales information.
• Strong organizational skills, including the ability to record, report, and document work efficiently.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Willingness to travel extensively and work long hours as needed.
• Proven computer skills, particularly in spreadsheets, word processing, databases, and other relevant software.
• Fluency in both German and English.
