This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New Jersey, +2 more states.
• Formulate territory strategies and drive sales in the Northeast United States market.
• Establish and nurture relationships with key decision-makers, architects, distributors, and contractors.
• Deliver technical support, product advice, take-offs, and review construction documents.
• Oversee the territory distribution network to ensure satisfaction for both contractors and end-users.
• Utilize value-selling techniques and deliver impactful presentations.
• Work alongside Sales Engineers to influence specifications and expedite project opportunities.
• Leverage CRM and the Buy-Cycle Funnel process to identify prospects, quote, close projects, and forecast sales.
• Gather market intelligence and Voice-of-Customer insights.
• Identify trends that promote growth and innovation initiatives.
• Conduct jobsite visits to support proper installation of products.
• Utilize ITW Business Principles and Toolbox to identify opportunities and enhance sales processes.
• A Bachelor’s degree is required; Engineering or Business is preferred.
• Over 5 years of sales experience, ideally in construction, concrete, building materials, or structural/civil engineering.
• Capability to build relationships and influence key decision-makers in the assigned territory.
• Strong business acumen is essential.
• Ability to analyze market and sales data and formulate growth strategies.
• Experience with Dynamics 365 or other CRM platforms is preferred.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and organizational skills.
• Competence in reading construction drawings and project specifications.
• Willingness to travel overnight up to 60% of the time.
• A valid U.S. passport is required for business travel to Canada.
