This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Illinois.

📋 Description

• Create a strategy to enhance the company's brand presence within the designated territory.

• Obtain dealer commitments and secure orders.

• Conduct planned dealer visits and document discussions and results in the CRM.

• Showcase equipment and offer learning opportunities related to product applications.

• Organize sales, marketing, and promotional initiatives.

• Introduce dealers to the most recent selling methods.

• Oversee dealer inventory levels and implement business adjustments as needed.

• Represent Husqvarna at trade shows, industry events, and dealer exhibitions.

• Build and nurture business relationships with dealers to promote growth, performance, and success.

• Acquire and develop new dealers to achieve sales and market share objectives.

• Strategize, improve, and assess the performance of assigned dealers while servicing the dealer network.


⛳️ Requirements

• At least a high school diploma or equivalent; an Associate's Degree is preferred.

• A minimum of 3-5 years of experience in a high-performance sales setting.

• Resides within the assigned territory, in a location that effectively serves customers.

• Previous sales experience in appliances, agricultural equipment, power tools, electronics, consumer durables, construction equipment, and/or power sports industries is preferred.

• Experience in dealer/distributor sales is a plus.

• Demonstrated sales success with strong negotiation abilities.

• Capability to independently resolve problems and translate expert knowledge into actionable solutions.

• Comprehension of market positioning from both financial and product perspectives.

• Knowledge of or enthusiasm for learning about outdoor power equipment and the industry.

• Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to establish high-quality internal and external relationships.

• Strong organizational and planning skills, capable of managing multiple tasks and priorities in a dynamic environment.

• Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

• Willingness to learn and excel in in-house sales and customer relations tracking systems.

• Ability to lift 40-50 lbs for demonstrations and trade show setups.

• Openness to travel up to 60%, including overnight trips.
