This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Australia.
• Propel business expansion and ensure customer satisfaction within the assigned territory.
• Implement sales strategies and achieve challenging growth objectives.
• Serve as Halter’s local representative.
• Identify new leads through proactive outreach, referrals, industry events, inbound inquiries, and various channels.
• Oversee the complete sales pipeline from lead generation to closing.
• Evaluate, qualify, demonstrate the product, and negotiate customer contracts.
• Foster strong customer relationships post-sale.
• Provide assistance and address customer challenges related to Halter products.
• Ensure a seamless transition from sales to customer onboarding and deployment.
• Manage the overall customer experience during onboarding and deployment.
• Cultivate relationships with regional agricultural organizations in the beef sector.
• Collect customer feedback and relay field insights to Support, Product, and R&D teams.
• Work in conjunction with Support to resolve customer issues and escalate concerns as necessary.
• Experience in value-based sales with a proven track record of generating opportunities, closing deals, and developing enduring customer relationships.
• Background in creating post-sales value and upselling to enhance partnerships.
• Experience in the beef industry or a strong enthusiasm for beef operations with a readiness to quickly learn about farm operations.
• Ability to manage a large territory using critical thinking while balancing sales and customer success.
• Resourceful and quick-thinking with strong problem-solving skills.
• Capacity to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
• Willingness to travel frequently within the territory to connect with customers and prospects.
• Must reside in Harvey, Collie, or Bunbury in Western Australia.
