This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Arizona, +4 more states.
• Propel profitable growth and enhance market share for the Industrial Hydraulics product range across the Western Region.
• Meet annual sales, profitability, and market share targets within the designated territory.
• Formulate and implement territory growth strategies aimed at expanding distributors, engaging OEMs, and developing end-user relationships.
• Establish and nurture relationships with distributors, fluid power integrators, OEMs, and significant industrial accounts.
• Identify, assess, and secure new business opportunities in manufacturing, mining, energy, and industrial sectors.
• Conduct customer visits, product demonstrations, and technical presentations.
• Collaborate with distributor sales teams to implement joint account strategies.
• Assist customers with product selection and application advice.
• Maintain a dynamic sales pipeline and provide precise forecasting.
• Track competitive activities and market trends.
• Represent Donaldson at industry trade events and customer gatherings.
• Bachelor’s degree or a minimum of 3 years of equivalent work experience.
• At least 2 years of experience in industrial, fluid power, hydraulics, filtration, or other technical sales roles.
• Prior experience in selling hydraulic filtration, fluid power, hydraulic components, industrial automation, or engineered industrial products is preferred.
• Familiarity with OEM, MRO, mobile equipment, manufacturing, mining, agriculture, and energy sectors is preferred.
• Experience in developing relationships with distributors and channel partners is preferred.
• Strong consultative selling, negotiation, and account management abilities.
• Proficiency in CRM systems and Microsoft Office applications.
• Exceptional communication, presentation, and organizational skills.
• Ability to influence stakeholders at various levels within customer organizations.
• Self-driven with robust business planning and territory management skills.
• Proven success in managing a multi-state sales territory and achieving revenue growth targets.
• Willingness to travel up to 60% within the region.
• Valid driver's license and capability to travel by both air and automobile.
• Must reside in Arizona, Nevada, California, Oregon, or Washington.
• Must be currently and legally authorized to work in the United States without any current or future sponsorship.
• International relocation or remote work options outside the U.S. will not be considered.
