Territory Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Drive sales performance and foster business growth within a designated geographic area.

• Create, implement, and execute a territory business strategy that aligns with corporate goals.

• Evaluate territory performance, market trends, customer requirements, and competitive landscape to pinpoint growth opportunities.

• Oversee territory accounts and resources to maximize return on investment.

• Utilize CRM, sales analytics, and other data sources to enhance targeting, call planning, and territory execution.

• Meet or surpass assigned sales targets and performance metrics.

• Build and sustain relationships with healthcare professionals and key stakeholders.

• Engage with physicians, nurse practitioners, physician assistants, nurses, pharmacists, office personnel, and other healthcare decision-makers.

• Provide clinically accurate product presentations tailored to the needs of customers.

• Implement promotional programs, educational initiatives, speaker events, and follow-up activities.

• Ensure high levels of customer service and responsiveness to support long-term account growth.

• Acquire in-depth knowledge of Azurity products, disease states, clinical data, and market dynamics.

• Convey complex clinical information effectively in customer environments.

• Keep track of competitor activities, treatment guidelines, payer developments, and industry trends.

• Complete mandatory training and broaden product, market, and sales expertise.

• Conduct business in a compliant, ethical, and professional manner.

• Maintain CRM documentation and manage territory expenses within the approved budget.

• Collaborate with sales leadership and cross-functional teams to achieve business objectives.


⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree is mandatory.

• A minimum of 2 years of proven sales experience is required.

• A demonstrated history of meeting or exceeding sales goals is essential.

• Ability to work autonomously while managing a territory and key customer relationships.

• Strong business acumen and strategic planning capabilities.

• Exceptional verbal, written, presentation, and interpersonal communication skills.

• Proficiency in communicating clinical and scientific information effectively.

• Strong organizational, analytical, and time-management skills are necessary.

• Experience with CRM platforms such as Veeva, Salesforce, or similar systems is preferred.

• Proficient in Microsoft Office, including Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.

• A valid driver's license with a satisfactory driving record is required.

• Willingness to travel as needed, including overnight and air travel.

• Experience in pharmaceutical or healthcare sales is preferred.

• Specialty pharmaceutical experience is preferred.

• Experience in Gastroenterology, Primary Care, Obesity Medicine, Endocrinology, Neurology, or other relevant specialties is preferred.

• Familiarity with local and regional health systems, payer dynamics, and specialty pharmacy channels is preferred.

• A proven track record of top sales performance and recognition is preferred.

• Must be able to sit for extended periods.

• Frequently required to stand, walk, sit, talk, and/or hear.

• May occasionally need to climb stairs and/or use elevators.

• Must occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.

• Ability to manipulate a keyboard and operate a telephone and hand-held devices is required.
