This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Develop, implement, and execute a comprehensive business plan for the territory that aligns with corporate objectives.
• Analyze performance within the territory, including market dynamics, customer needs, and competitive activities to pinpoint growth opportunities.
• Treat the territory as a business, prioritizing accounts and resources to maximize return on investment.
• Utilize CRM systems, sales analytics, and other data sources to enhance targeting, call planning, and territory execution.
• Meet or surpass assigned sales goals and performance metrics.
• Build and sustain relationships with healthcare professionals and key stakeholders.
• Interact with physicians, nurse practitioners, physician assistants, nurses, pharmacists, office staff, and other healthcare decision-makers.
• Provide clinically accurate product presentations customized to meet customer needs.
• Implement promotional programs, educational initiatives, speaker programs, and follow-up activities.
• Ensure customer service excellence and responsiveness to foster account growth.
• Acquire and maintain expertise in Azurity products, disease states, clinical data, and market dynamics.
• Effectively communicate complex clinical information in various customer settings.
• Remain informed about competitor activities, treatment guidelines, payer developments, and industry trends.
• Complete necessary training to enhance product, market, and sales expertise.
• Conduct business operations in a compliant, ethical, and professional manner.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation in CRM systems.
• Manage territory expenses and resources within approved budgets.
• Collaborate with sales leadership and cross-functional teams.
• A bachelor's degree is required.
• At least 2 years of successful sales experience is necessary.
• Proven history of meeting or exceeding sales objectives.
• Ability to work independently while managing a territory and key customer relationships.
• Strong business acumen and strategic planning capabilities.
• Excellent verbal, written, presentation, and interpersonal communication skills.
• Ability to effectively communicate clinical and scientific information.
• Strong organizational, analytical, and time-management skills.
• Experience with CRM platforms like Veeva, Salesforce, or other equivalent systems.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
• A valid driver's license with a satisfactory driving record.
• Willingness to travel as necessary, including overnight and air travel.
• Prior experience in pharmaceutical or healthcare sales is preferred.
• Specialty pharmaceutical experience is advantageous.
• Experience working with Gastroenterology, Primary Care, Obesity Medicine, Endocrinology, Neurology, or other relevant specialties is preferred.
• Familiarity with local and regional health systems, payer dynamics, and specialty pharmacy channels is desired.
• A demonstrated record of top sales performance and recognition is preferred.
