This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New Jersey, +2 more states.
• Drive strategic growth across a diverse portfolio of retail, insurance, manufacturing, and hospitality clients in the Northeast region.
• Act as a trusted advisor to executive stakeholders.
• Create long-term account strategies and thorough business plans for accounts.
• Lead cross-functional teams and extended account groups.
• Broaden HPE’s presence in networking, hybrid cloud, AI, compute, storage, and services solutions.
• Align customer KPIs and business priorities with HPE IT solutions.
• Persuade customer executives by articulating solution value and relevance.
• Construct frameworks for customer business value.
• Implement strategies to enhance account growth and profitability.
• Position strategic portfolio solutions and define technology options.
• Identify, develop, and drive opportunities through pipeline creation and deal closure.
• Cultivate executive relationships and establish customer engagement models.
• Foster partner relationships and oversee the partner network.
• Engage with customer CTOs/CIOs and discuss pertinent IT trends.
• Provide feedback to HPE organizations to enhance customer satisfaction and loyalty.
• Coordinate regional pursuit resources and participate in pricing and resource allocation decisions.
• Preferred university or bachelor’s degree, or equivalent professional experience.
• Desired engineering or technology education, advanced degree, or MBA.
• Over 6 years of experience in enterprise technology sales or strategic account management.
• IT industry experience is preferred.
• A background in various sales roles is an advantage.
• Highly desired experience in supporting retail, insurance, manufacturing, or hospitality clients.
• Familiarity with the latest IT industry innovations and technology trends.
• Comprehensive understanding of HPE products, solutions, and service offerings.
• Capability to lead dispersed and indirect teams within a complex matrix organization.
• Strong skills in building professional relationships and collaborating effectively.
• Proficient in active listening and conveying value propositions.
• Skills in influencing and negotiation.
• Business acumen, including the ability to understand financial reports and business outcomes.
• Commitment to operational excellence and integrity.
• Preferred knowledge of customer industry, enterprise architecture, partner, and influencer ecosystems.
• Consulting abilities to guide customers towards achieving business outcomes.
• Preferred candidates will be based in Maryland.
