This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New Mexico.
• Oversee client account management and expansion for AECOM’s US Army Department of Defense account.
• Formulate and manage strategic initiatives, account plans, opportunity targets, pipelines, growth objectives, and client acquisition strategies.
• Evaluate intelligence, external market dynamics, competitors, and small-business prospects.
• Collaborate with Regional Business Lines, Business Line Leaders, Regional Executives, and Engagement Teams.
• Track account performance, bookings, pipeline, contract capacity, program/project opportunities, and portfolio quality.
• Review and update the Salesforce pipeline while ensuring capture plans for major pursuits are in place.
• Assist with teaming, negotiations, risk-management approvals, pricing, proposals, and federal requirements.
• Lead significant proposals and devise strategies for underperforming contracts.
• Cultivate and manage relationships with key clients to enhance cross-selling opportunities.
• Supervise corrective actions, recoveries, client interactions, and client satisfaction levels.
• Ensure compliance awareness, support FAR compliance, participate on joint-venture boards, and review CPAR reports and rebuttals.
• Address organizational conflict of interest issues and resolve conflicts among Business Lines.
• Communicate account status, objectives, metrics, and progress through focus groups and the National Governments chain.
• Conduct business-line reviews and coordinate client engagement to identify and secure task orders and contracts.
• Advocate for the AECOM/National Governments brand and foster federal team development.
• Monitor AECOM team performance and address client issues and concerns.
• Report to the US Defense Director and/or National Government Account Directors.
• Bachelor's degree in architecture, engineering, or another relevant field aligned with AECOM’s Business Lines.
• Over 15 years of experience collaborating with US Federal government agencies on Architect-Engineering programs.
• At least 6 years in a leadership capacity.
• Willingness to travel within CONUS and occasionally OCONUS.
• US citizenship is mandatory.
• Comprehensive understanding of consultative selling techniques.
• Exceptional communication skills.
• Proficient negotiation abilities.
• Expertise in project management for complex, multi-country, multi-business unit agreements.
• Familiarity with, or a commitment to rapidly learn, AECOM's complete portfolio.
• Experience with CRM systems (Salesforce) is advantageous.
