This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Drive sales performance and foster business growth within a designated geographical area.
• Create, implement, and execute a detailed territory business plan that aligns with corporate goals.
• Evaluate territory performance, market trends, customer requirements, and competitive activities to uncover growth prospects.
• Treat the territory as a business, prioritizing accounts and resources to maximize return on investment.
• Utilize CRM systems, sales analytics, and various data sources to enhance targeting, call planning, and territory management.
• Meet or surpass assigned sales targets and performance expectations.
• Establish and nurture productive relationships with healthcare professionals and key stakeholders.
• Engage with physicians, nurse practitioners, physician assistants, nurses, pharmacists, office staff, and other healthcare decision-makers.
• Provide clinically accurate product presentations customized to customer needs.
• Implement promotional programs, educational initiatives, speaker programs, and follow-up activities.
• Uphold high standards of customer service and responsiveness to encourage long-term account growth.
• Stay informed about Azurity products, disease states, clinical data, and marketplace dynamics.
• Convey complex clinical information effectively in customer interactions.
• Remain updated on competitor activities, treatment guidelines, payer developments, and industry trends.
• Fulfill necessary training and broaden product, market, and sales expertise.
• Conduct business activities in a compliant, ethical, and professional manner.
• Follow company policies, industry regulations, and legal requirements, including sample accountability.
• Ensure timely documentation in CRM.
• Oversee territory expenses and resources within approved budgets.
• Collaborate with sales leadership and cross-functional teams to achieve business objectives.
• A Bachelor's degree is required.
• A minimum of 2 years of successful sales experience is necessary.
• Proven history of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
• Ability to work independently while managing a territory and key customer relationships.
• Strong business insight and strategic planning abilities.
• Exceptional verbal, written, presentation, and interpersonal communication skills.
• Capability to effectively communicate clinical and scientific information.
• Strong organizational, analytical, and time-management skills.
• Experience with CRM platforms, such as Veeva, Salesforce, or equivalent systems.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
• A valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record is essential.
• Willingness to travel as required, including overnight and air travel.
• Pharmaceutical or healthcare sales experience is preferred.
• Experience in specialty pharmaceuticals is a plus.
• Background in Gastroenterology, Primary Care, Obesity Medicine, Endocrinology, Neurology, or other relevant specialties is preferred.
• Familiarity with local and regional health systems, payer dynamics, and specialty pharmacy channels is preferred.
• A demonstrated history of top sales performance and recognition is preferred.
• Must be able to sit for extended periods.
• Frequent requirements include standing, walking, sitting, talking, and/or hearing.
• May occasionally need to climb stairs and/or use elevators.
• Must occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.
• Ability to use a keyboard and operate a telephone and handheld devices is necessary.
