Territory Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Formulate, implement, and execute a detailed territory business strategy that aligns with corporate goals.

• Assess territory performance, market trends, customer requirements, and competitive actions to uncover growth prospects.

• Treat the territory as a business, prioritizing accounts and resources to enhance return on investment.

• Leverage CRM, sales analytics, and various data sources to refine targeting, call planning, and territory execution.

• Meet or surpass assigned sales targets and performance metrics.

• Build and sustain relationships with healthcare professionals and key stakeholders.

• Engage with physicians, nurse practitioners, physician assistants, nurses, pharmacists, office personnel, and other healthcare decision-makers.

• Provide clinically accurate product presentations customized to meet customer needs.

• Implement promotional campaigns, educational programs, speaker events, and follow-up actions.

• Ensure customer service excellence and responsiveness to foster long-term account development.

• Cultivate and maintain expertise in Azurity products, disease states, clinical data, and market dynamics.

• Convey complex clinical information accurately across various customer environments.

• Remain informed about competitor activities, treatment guidelines, payer developments, and industry trends.

• Complete necessary training and enhance knowledge of products, markets, and sales techniques.

• Conduct business in a compliant, ethical, and professional manner.

• Follow company policies, regulations, and legal standards, including sample accountability when applicable.

• Keep precise and timely CRM documentation.

• Control territory expenses and resources within approved budget limits.

• Collaborate with sales leadership and cross-functional teams to achieve business outcomes.


⛳️ Requirements

• A Bachelor's degree is mandatory.

• A minimum of 2 years of proven sales experience is required.

• A demonstrated history of meeting or exceeding sales targets is essential.

• Capability to work autonomously while managing a territory and significant customer relationships.

• Strong business sense and strategic planning abilities are necessary.

• Exceptional verbal, written, presentation, and interpersonal communication skills are required.

• Proficiency in effectively communicating clinical and scientific data is essential.

• Robust organizational, analytical, and time-management skills are needed.

• Experience with CRM systems such as Veeva, Salesforce, or similar is preferred.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Excel, PowerPoint, and Word, is necessary.

• A valid driver's license with a satisfactory driving record is required.

• Willingness to travel as necessary, including overnight and air travel.

• Experience in pharmaceutical or healthcare sales is preferred.

• Specialty pharmaceutical experience is a plus.

• Experience working with specialties such as Gastroenterology, Primary Care, Obesity Medicine, Endocrinology, Neurology, or other relevant areas is preferred.

• Familiarity with local and regional health systems, payer dynamics, and specialty pharmacy channels is advantageous.

• A history of top sales performance and acknowledgment is preferred.

• Must be able to sit for extended periods.

• Regularly required to stand, walk, sit, talk, and/or hear.

• May occasionally need to climb stairs and/or use elevators.

• Occasionally required to lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.

• Ability to use a keyboard and operate a telephone and handheld devices is necessary.
