Territory Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Pennsylvania.

📋 Description

• Lead sales performance and foster business expansion within a designated region.

• Create, implement, and execute a detailed territory business plan that aligns with corporate goals.

• Assess territory performance, market trends, customer requirements, and competitive landscape to pinpoint growth opportunities.

• Treat the territory as an individual business, focusing on accounts and resources to optimize return on investment.

• Leverage CRM systems, sales analytics, and other data resources to enhance targeting, call strategy, and territory implementation.

• Meet or surpass assigned sales targets and performance metrics.

• Build and sustain relationships with healthcare professionals and key stakeholders.

• Interact with physicians, nurse practitioners, physician assistants, nurses, pharmacists, office personnel, and other healthcare decision-makers.

• Provide clinically accurate product presentations tailored to the needs of customers.

• Implement promotional campaigns, educational programs, speaker engagements, and follow-up activities.

• Uphold customer service standards and responsiveness to foster long-term account growth.

• Acquire and maintain knowledge of Azurity products, medical conditions, clinical data, and market dynamics.

• Convey complex clinical information effectively in customer interactions.

• Stay informed about competitor activities, treatment protocols, payer developments, and industry trends.

• Complete necessary training and enhance product, market, and selling expertise.

• Conduct business operations in a compliant, ethical, and professional manner.

• Follow company policies, regulations, legal standards, and sample accountability protocols.

• Ensure accurate and timely documentation in CRM systems.

• Manage territory expenses and resources within the approved budget.

• Collaborate with sales leadership and cross-functional teams to achieve business objectives.


⛳️ Requirements

• A bachelor's degree is mandatory.

• A minimum of 2 years of successful sales experience is required.

• Proven track record of achieving or exceeding sales goals.

• Capability to work independently while managing a territory and vital customer relationships.

• Strong business insight and strategic planning abilities.

• Exceptional verbal, written, presentation, and interpersonal communication skills.

• Proficient in effectively conveying clinical and scientific information.

• Strong organizational, analytical, and time-management skills.

• Experience with CRM platforms such as Veeva, Salesforce, or similar systems is preferred.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.

• A valid driver’s license with a satisfactory driving record is necessary.

• Willingness to travel as needed, including overnight and air travel.

• Experience in pharmaceutical or healthcare sales is favored.

• Specialty pharmaceutical experience is a plus.

• Experience in calling on Gastroenterology, Primary Care, Obesity Medicine, Endocrinology, Neurology, or other relevant specialties is preferred.

• Familiarity with local and regional health systems, payer dynamics, and specialty pharmacy channels is advantageous.

• A history of top sales performance and recognition is preferred.

• Ability to remain seated for extended periods is required.

• Frequently required to stand, walk, sit, talk, and/or hear.

• May occasionally need to climb stairs and/or use elevators.

• Must occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.

• Proficiency in manipulating a keyboard and using a telephone and hand-held devices is essential.
