This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New York.
• Propel sales performance and foster business growth within a designated region.
• Formulate, implement, and execute a detailed territory business plan in line with corporate goals.
• Evaluate territory performance, market trends, customer needs, and competitive actions to uncover growth opportunities.
• Oversee territory accounts and resources to maximize return on investment.
• Leverage CRM, sales analytics, and various data sources to refine targeting, call planning, and territory execution.
• Meet or exceed assigned sales targets and performance benchmarks.
• Establish and nurture relationships with healthcare professionals, key accounts, pharmacies, health systems, and other stakeholders.
• Engage with physicians, nurse practitioners, physician assistants, nurses, pharmacists, office staff, and healthcare decision-makers.
• Present clinically accurate product information tailored to customer needs.
• Implement promotional programs, educational initiatives, speaker programs, and follow-up activities.
• Ensure customer service excellence and responsiveness to facilitate long-term account growth.
• Acquire knowledge of Azurity products, disease states, clinical data, and market dynamics.
• Convey complex clinical information accurately in customer interactions.
• Monitor competitor activities, treatment guidelines, payer developments, and industry trends.
• Complete mandatory training and enhance product, market, and sales expertise.
• Conduct business in a compliant, ethical, and professional manner while adhering to company policies, regulations, and legal standards.
• Maintain precise CRM documentation and manage territory expenses within approved budgets.
• Collaborate with sales leadership and cross-functional teams to drive business outcomes.
• A Bachelor's degree is required.
• A minimum of 2 years of proven sales experience; pharmaceutical or healthcare sales experience is preferred.
• Demonstrated history of achieving or surpassing sales objectives.
• Proven capability to work autonomously while effectively managing a territory and key customer relationships.
• Strong business acumen and strategic planning expertise.
• Exceptional verbal, written, presentation, and interpersonal communication skills.
• Ability to convey clinical and scientific information effectively.
• Strong organizational, analytical, and time-management skills.
• Experience with CRM platforms such as Veeva, Salesforce, or similar systems.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
• A valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record.
• Willingness to travel as needed, including overnight and air travel.
• Must be able to sit for extended periods.
• Frequently required to stand, walk, sit, talk, and/or hear.
• May occasionally need to climb stairs and/or use elevators.
• Occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.
• Ability to operate a keyboard and use a telephone and handheld devices.
