This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New York.
• Develop, implement, and execute a comprehensive business strategy for the territory that aligns with corporate goals.
• Assess territory performance, market trends, customer requirements, and competitive actions to uncover growth prospects.
• Oversee the territory, prioritize accounts and resources, and optimize return on investment.
• Utilize CRM, sales analytics, and various data sources to enhance targeting, call planning, and territory management.
• Meet or surpass established sales targets and performance metrics.
• Cultivate and sustain relationships with healthcare professionals, key accounts, pharmacies, health systems, and other stakeholders.
• Interact with physicians, nurse practitioners, physician assistants, nurses, pharmacists, office personnel, and healthcare decision-makers.
• Provide clinically accurate product presentations customized to customer requirements.
• Implement promotional initiatives, educational programs, speaker engagements, and follow-up actions.
• Ensure customer service excellence and responsiveness to facilitate account growth.
• Gain expertise in products, disease states, clinical data, and market dynamics.
• Accurately convey complex clinical information in customer interactions.
• Track competitor movements, treatment protocols, payer changes, and industry developments.
• Complete all necessary training and enhance product, market, and sales expertise.
• Perform all activities in compliance with ethical standards; adhere to company policies, regulations, and legal obligations.
• Keep CRM documentation current and manage territory expenses within approved budgets.
• Collaborate with sales leadership and cross-functional teams to achieve desired outcomes.
• A Bachelor's degree is required.
• At least 2 years of proven sales experience.
• A demonstrated history of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
• Ability to work autonomously while managing a territory and key customer relationships.
• Strong business insight and strategic planning abilities.
• Exceptional verbal, written, presentation, and interpersonal communication skills.
• Capability to effectively communicate clinical and scientific information.
• Strong organizational, analytical, and time-management skills.
• Experience with CRM systems such as Veeva, Salesforce, or similar platforms.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
• A valid driver's license with a satisfactory driving record.
• Willingness to travel as necessary, including overnight and air travel.
• Ability to sit for extended periods and frequently stand, walk, talk, and/or hear.
• Occasional climbing of stairs and/or using elevators may be required.
• Must be able to occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.
• Ability to operate a keyboard, telephone, and handheld devices.
