Territory Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Kentucky.

📋 Description

• Propel sales performance and foster business growth within a designated territory.

• Formulate, implement, and execute a detailed territory business strategy in line with corporate goals.

• Assess territory performance, market trends, customer requirements, and competitive landscape to pinpoint growth potential.

• Oversee territory accounts and resources to optimize return on investment.

• Leverage CRM, sales analytics, and other data to enhance targeting, call planning, and territory execution.

• Meet or surpass assigned sales targets and performance metrics.

• Cultivate and sustain relationships with healthcare professionals, key accounts, pharmacies, health systems, and other stakeholders.

• Engage with physicians, nurse practitioners, physician assistants, nurses, pharmacists, office staff, and healthcare decision-makers.

• Provide clinically accurate product presentations customized to customer needs.

• Implement promotional campaigns, educational programs, speaker events, and follow-up activities.

• Acquire and maintain knowledge of Azurity products, disease states, clinical data, and market trends.

• Convey complex clinical information accurately in customer interactions.

• Observe competitor actions, treatment guidelines, payer developments, and industry trends.

• Complete mandatory training and enhance product, market, and sales expertise.

• Conduct business in a compliant, ethical, and professional manner.

• Adhere to company policies, industry regulations, legal standards, and sample accountability procedures.

• Ensure timely documentation in CRM.

• Manage territory expenses and resources within approved budgets.

• Collaborate with sales leadership and cross-functional teams to achieve results.

• Perform additional miscellaneous tasks as required.


⛳️ Requirements

• A bachelor's degree is required.

• At least 2 years of successful sales experience is necessary.

• Proven history of achieving or surpassing sales objectives.

• Capability to work independently while managing a territory and key customer relationships.

• Strong business insight and strategic planning abilities.

• Exceptional verbal, written, presentation, and interpersonal communication skills.

• Proficient in effectively communicating clinical and scientific information.

• Strong organizational, analytical, and time management skills.

• Experience with CRM systems like Veeva, Salesforce, or similar.

• Proficient in Microsoft Office, including Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.

• Valid driver's license with a satisfactory driving record.

• Willingness to travel as needed, including overnight and air travel.

• Preferred experience in pharmaceutical sales.

• Preferred experience in specialty pharmaceuticals.

• Experience engaging with specialties such as Gastroenterology, Primary Care, Obesity Medicine, Endocrinology, Neurology, or other relevant fields is preferred.

• Familiarity with local and regional health systems, payer dynamics, and specialty pharmacy channels is preferred.

• A demonstrated track record of top sales performance and recognition is preferred.

• Must be able to sit for extended periods.

• Regularly required to stand, walk, sit, talk, and/or hear.

• May occasionally need to climb stairs and/or use elevators.

• Must occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.

• Must be capable of manipulating a keyboard and operating a telephone and handheld devices.
