This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Florida.
• Drive sales performance and foster business growth within a designated geographical area.
• Create, implement, and execute a comprehensive territory business strategy that aligns with corporate goals.
• Evaluate territory performance, market trends, customer requirements, and competitive landscape to uncover growth possibilities.
• Manage the territory as an independent business, prioritizing accounts and resources to maximize return on investment.
• Utilize CRM systems, sales analytics, and various data sources to enhance targeting, call planning, and execution within the territory.
• Meet or surpass assigned sales targets and performance goals.
• Establish and nurture relationships with healthcare professionals, key accounts, pharmacies, health systems, and other stakeholders.
• Engage with physicians, nurse practitioners, physician assistants, nurses, pharmacists, office personnel, and other healthcare decision-makers.
• Present clinically accurate product information tailored to the specific needs of customers.
• Implement promotional programs, educational initiatives, speaker events, and follow-up activities.
• Provide responsive customer service to promote long-term account development.
• Cultivate and maintain knowledge of Azurity products, relevant disease states, clinical data, and marketplace dynamics.
• Convey complex clinical information accurately across diverse customer environments.
• Keep an eye on competitor movements, treatment guidelines, payer developments, and industry trends.
• Complete necessary training and enhance expertise in products, markets, and sales approaches.
• Conduct all activities in a compliant, ethical, and professional manner.
• Follow company policies, regulations, legal standards, and sample accountability protocols.
• Ensure precise and timely documentation in the CRM system.
• Manage territory expenses and resources while adhering to approved budgets.
• Collaborate with sales leadership and cross-functional teams to achieve business outcomes.
• A Bachelor's degree is required.
• At least 2 years of successful sales experience is necessary.
• A demonstrated history of meeting or exceeding sales targets is essential.
• Proven ability to work independently while overseeing a territory and managing key customer relationships.
• Strong business acumen and strategic planning abilities are required.
• Exceptional verbal, written, presentation, and interpersonal communication skills are a must.
• Capability to convey clinical and scientific information effectively.
• Strong organizational, analytical, and time-management skills are essential.
• Experience with CRM platforms like Veeva, Salesforce, or similar systems is required.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
• A valid driver's license with a satisfactory driving record is necessary.
• Willingness to travel as required, including overnight and air travel.
• Pharmaceutical or healthcare sales experience is preferred.
• Specialty pharmaceutical experience is desirable.
• Experience in calling on Gastroenterology, Primary Care, Obesity Medicine, Endocrinology, Neurology, or other relevant specialties is preferred.
• Familiarity with local and regional health systems, payer dynamics, and specialty pharmacy channels is preferred.
• A proven track record of top sales performance and recognition is preferred.
• Must be able to sit for extended periods.
• Frequent standing, walking, sitting, talking, and/or hearing is required.
• Occasional climbing of stairs and/or riding elevators may be necessary.
• Must be able to occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.
• Ability to manipulate a keyboard, operate a telephone, and use hand-held devices is required.
