Territory Manager – Animal Health

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Wisconsin.

📋 Description

• Drive sales of products and equipment to both existing veterinarians and new clients within a designated sales territory.

• Strategically plan and conduct sales calls.

• Choose products and programs that encourage customer purchases.

• Engage with target, current, and potential clients to boost sales, enhance market share, and increase revenue.

• Utilize computers as a sales tool, leveraging MWI email, Outlook promotions, and the MWI Territory Manager website.

• Comprehend the needs of veterinarians and clinics and select appropriate products and services to meet those needs.

• Build strong relationships with veterinarians and clinics.

• Analyze sales data and supplier reports for effective pre- and post-call planning.

• Create and maintain a documented call cycle and share insights with the ISR and Regional Manager.

• Stay updated on MWI's products and services, sales initiatives, promotions, and offerings.

• Establish customer account profiles within the assigned territory.

• Respond to inquiries from customers, MWI team members, and manufacturer representatives.

• Detail and showcase new products and promotional offers.

• Submit timely reports.

• Achieve territory and manufacturer sales targets and budget objectives.

• Provide guidance to customers regarding inventory management, equipment, and products.

• Act as the primary contact for customer interactions and coordinate issue resolution with MWI internal staff.

• Maintain the vehicle and ensure adequate support materials are available.

• Collaborate with key vendors and Product Specialists.

• Attend conference calls and meetings as required.


⛳️ Requirements

• A bachelor’s degree or a suitable combination of experience and education is required.

• One to three years of relevant industry or sales experience, preferably in animal health, is preferred.

• Exceptional interpersonal, presentation, and organizational skills.

• Demonstrated ability to sell effectively.

• A valid driver’s license and a clean driving record are essential.

• Strong individual and group communication abilities.

• Customer-focused mindset with the capability to forge effective customer relationships.

• Understanding of company goals and organizational structure.

• Awareness of customers, competitors, and the market landscape.

• Capacity to deliver high-quality customer service.

• Knowledge and proficiency in explaining, selling, and managing products.

• Technological proficiency pertinent to the industry and company requirements.

• Competence in using computers, MWI email, MWI promotions in Outlook, and the MWI Territory Manager website.
