This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.
• Meet sales objectives for the territory through effective selling strategies.
• Build and nurture partnerships with essential decision-makers.
• Conduct product training sessions.
• Enhance market share and drive sales growth.
• Focus on acute care clients by marketing and supporting Coloplast’s Advanced Wound Dressings portfolio.
• Acquire new clients and expand business from a minimal market share.
• Identify customer challenges and requirements, positioning products for specific patient, clinician, and account contexts.
• Foster agreement among various stakeholders.
• Organize daily calling schedules to reach key accounts.
• Develop and implement strategies at the account level.
• Examine sales, customer performance, expenditure, and usage data.
• Articulate Coloplast’s value proposition related to customers’ financial drivers.
• Build and sustain long-term business relationships.
• Share clinical and technical product knowledge effectively.
• Interpret and communicate clinical information.
• Stay informed about clinical practices, market trends, and industry developments.
• Manage information using the CRM tool.
• Maintain records and complete sales reporting along with expense management.
• Travel as needed, including overnight trips.
• Bachelor’s degree is preferred.
• Proven success in a B2B sales environment.
• Strong preference for candidates with hospital experience.
• A minimum of 3 years of successful sales experience is required.
• Experience in the medical field is strongly preferred.
• Willingness and ability to travel, including overnight trips, 10%–25% of the time.
• A valid driver’s license is necessary as driving is part of the role.
• Ability to adhere to relevant laws, regulations, the Advamed Code of Ethics, and company policies.
• Capacity to analyze and interpret various data sources.
• Proficiency in creating basic spreadsheets using formulas, formatting, and sorting.
• Awareness of competitive activities, sales volume, product details, market trends, and industry insights.
• Familiarity with CRM tools is essential.
• Capable of communicating clinical and technical product information.
• Skillful in reading, analyzing, and sharing clinical information.
• Demonstrates competitive and results-driven behavior.
• A self-starter who can navigate lengthy sales processes with limited guidance.
