Territory Director

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Texas.

📋 Description

• Lead supply chain operations within a designated area of the distribution network.

• Meet company goals, performance metrics, and operating expense targets across various distribution centers in a specified North American region.

• Oversee customer service and warehouse facility performance, encompassing operations, customer relations, quality, safety, and security.

• Develop and guide Managers to ensure effective and economical warehouse operations.

• Supervise receiving, storage, shipping, handling of returned or damaged products, and administrative distribution services.

• Create and implement account planning strategies to boost sales and expand both existing and new business opportunities.

• Direct warehouse managers to meet facility metrics and established objectives.

• Recruit, hire, and train the warehouse management team.

• Monitor warehouse space layout plans.

• Oversee employee, equipment, and property safety programs while ensuring compliance with injury reporting requirements.

• Guarantee adherence to government regulations.

• Maintain professional relationships with customers.

• Conduct audits for service and safety standards.

• Ensure precise inventory control and warehouse security.

• Participate in labor contract negotiations as needed.

• Perform additional duties as assigned.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree required.

• Minimum of five (5) years in a regional distribution leadership position.

• Strong experience in warehouse operations.

• Proficient in warehouse and transportation management systems.

• Ability to communicate effectively within the organization and across business units, as well as with partners throughout the supply chain.

• Must appreciate diversity and display a leadership style that fosters a collaborative team environment.

• Proven success in managing the effective allocation of resources to meet organizational goals.

• Six Sigma Certification is preferred.

• Willingness to travel up to 70% of the time.

• Minimal physical exertion; ability to walk, stand, bend, reach, and occasionally lift or carry items weighing up to 50 lbs.
