This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Act as the primary commercial liaison with senior officials, regulators, and clients within the US State and Federal Government.
• Drive business expansion initiatives and cultivate relationships with leaders to discern customer requirements and monitor competitor activities.
• Formulate and execute sales strategies centered on customer engagement.
• Identify opportunities for business growth and support business development initiatives.
• Work in tandem with APX delivery teams to secure and provide APX products from business development through to final invoicing.
• Maintain and update customer sales plans in D365, which encompasses opportunity status, order status, and customer engagement documentation.
• Collaborate with the Global Markets team to understand and address customer needs and feedback.
• Nurture executive relationships with customers and engage with government, regulatory, and public/media stakeholders.
• Represent Westinghouse in industrial and nuclear organizations.
• Provide leadership by communicating and executing policies, procedures, training, compliance, document management, systems maintenance, and IT processes.
• Authorize proposals and contracts with customers, suppliers, and other entities.
• Assist in the development of APX's mid- and long-term business strategies and implement innovative business approaches.
• Relay strategic customer insights, planned expenditures, and competitive intelligence to Growth Leaders and Product Managers.
• A Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
• Over 10 years of experience in the Nuclear or Energy Industry.
• Familiarity with the nuclear utility sector and regulatory landscape.
• Understanding of global marketing strategies and industry standards.
• Knowledge of strategic planning methodologies.
• Proficiency in negotiation techniques, commercial terms and conditions, and contract management.
• Awareness of Government State and Federal Customer operational processes and internal cultures.
• Comprehension of business planning and operational processes.
