This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Florida.
• Identify, pursue, and secure new business by persuading healthcare professionals (HCPs) to embrace a novel approach to HIV treatment.
• Engage with HCPs, nurses, staff, and administrators to gain insights into clinical, organizational, and financial challenges and opportunities within target accounts.
• Leverage data analytics, business insight, and market knowledge to pinpoint high-priority prospects.
• Develop and implement customized business plans that assist HCPs in scaling treatment models to reach a larger patient population.
• Collaborate with Clinical Nurse Educators, Field Reimbursement Managers, and other cross-functional team members.
• Maintain a portfolio-based selling approach and ensure unified, integrated customer experiences.
• Offer proactive customer service by anticipating and addressing the concerns, needs, and requests of HCPs.
• Adjust execution strategies to meet performance objectives utilizing KPIs, replicating successful strategies, and resolving business challenges.
• Cultivate and strengthen relationships with influential customers and thought leaders.
• Consistently align actions with ViiV's culture, expectations, and values.
• Embrace uncertainty in a launch setting and learn from challenges.
• Report issues and risks when necessary and voice concerns proactively.
• Adhere to essential compliance and regulatory standards.
• BA/BS degree.
• Over 5 years of experience in pharmaceutical sales.
• At least 3 years of experience in specialty sales.
• Capability to travel domestically as required, including potential overnight trips.
• Significant time spent in the market.
• Valid driver's license.
• Strong planning and organizational abilities.
• Analytical skills and business insight.
• Competence in decision-making and problem-solving.
• Ability to influence and collaborate across functions in a matrixed environment.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Experience in complex market access coverage situations.
• Familiarity with working alongside HCPs to procure, manage, and administer cold chain treatment products.
• Knowledge of the HIV treatment and/or prevention market.
• Bilingual in Spanish is preferred but not mandatory.
• Experience in cross-functional partnerships within an integrated account team model.
