This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New Zealand.
• Identify, nurture, and enhance relationships with key large customers in New Zealand.
• Meet sales targets and achieve strategic objectives within specific vertical markets.
• Represent the complete range of the company's products and services to designated markets.
• Oversee customer account planning cycles to ensure alignment with market needs and expectations.
• Collaborate with partners and coordinate with selected distributors to align with essential partners.
• Expand the partner ecosystem.
• Develop strong relationships with key personnel in targeted vertical markets.
• Market, sell, and secure orders from both existing and potential customers.
• Organize support, service, management, and other company resources to fulfill objectives and meet customer expectations.
• Lead collaborative strategic account planning with one- and three-year goals, financial targets, and milestones.
• Evaluate, clarify, and validate customer requirements.
• Spearhead solution-development initiatives.
• Create partner business plans that encompass marketing activities, training certifications, revenue goals, forecasting, and metrics.
• Formulate growth strategies for existing strategic partners and cultivate healthy pipelines utilizing marketing development funds.
• Identify and onboard new partners to sell Extreme wireless, networking, data center, and cloud products.
• Collaborate with distribution to ensure timely product, service, and result delivery.
• Conduct customer outreach through calls, visits, and presentations.
• Analyze prospective customers and evaluate their potential.
• Prepare written proposals and quotes.
• Address customer issues and resolve complaints.
• Coordinate sales initiatives with marketing, sales management, accounting, logistics, and technical service teams.
• Analyze territory potential and customer value.
• Develop and manage customer value plans.
• Compare and evaluate competitors’ products and services.
• Strategize and organize territory sales approaches.
• Provide both oral and written reports on customer requirements, competitive activities, and product opportunities.
• Monitor product applications, technical services, market conditions, competition, advertising, and promotional trends.
• Engage in trade shows and conventions.
• Provide accurate weekly sales forecasts.
• Report directly to the ANZ Regional Director.
• Collaborate with Channel Account Managers and Pre-Sales Engineers.
• Fulfill required training and development objectives.
• BS degree in Computer Science or a related engineering discipline, or equivalent practical experience.
• 5 years of experience in commercial software, storage, or networking engineering.
• Must successfully pass a background check.
• Willingness and ability to travel domestically about 25% of the time, with occasional additional travel.
• Capability to complete necessary training and development objectives within the designated timeframe.
• On-target earnings (OTE) are structured on a 50/50 split and are based on qualifications and experience, ranging from 270-280K OTE.
• 25% domestic travel (with the possibility of additional travel).
