This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Kansas, +1 more state.
• Drive the acquisition of new accounts and promote organic growth through strategic prospecting, value-driven selling, and clinical education.
• Establish Caris as the preferred or sole-source provider of tumor profiling and molecular intelligence solutions.
• Assess territory opportunities and formulate strategic sales plans to meet growth objectives.
• Achieve or surpass assigned revenue, activity, and performance goals.
• Develop and sustain robust customer relationships through regular in-person interactions.
• Ensure a smooth customer experience throughout the entire order lifecycle.
• Maintain communication with key account stakeholders and escalate issues when customer satisfaction is at risk.
• Implement retention strategies and identify opportunities for upselling and cross-selling.
• Collaborate with oncology clinicians and allied teams across clinics, pathology labs, and hospital environments.
• Assist physicians in ordering and interpreting the CMI platform, including access to PHI when necessary.
• Demonstrate and provide advice on portals, EMR integrations, and workflows.
• Offer insights on billing, reimbursement, payer dynamics, and laboratory operational processes.
• Communicate market trends, customer feedback, and competitive insights to leadership.
• Work in partnership with Client Services, Regional Business Directors, Commercial Leadership, and cross-functional teams.
• Maintain accurate CRM documentation and complete necessary administrative tasks.
• Support meetings, conferences, and trade shows as needed.
• Travel as required, which may include evenings, weekends, or holidays.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.
• A Bachelor’s degree is required.
• A minimum of 3 years of relevant sales experience is necessary.
• Strong knowledge of oncology practices and molecular diagnostics.
• Familiarity with billing and reimbursement environments.
• Excellent communication and relationship-building abilities.
• Capability to manage multiple priorities in a matrixed environment.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM tools.
• A valid driver’s license and a willingness to travel frequently.
• Successful completion of pre-employment requirements, including a criminal background check, drug screening, applicable credit check, and reference verification.
• Ability to sit or stand for extended periods.
• Capacity to lift routine office materials.
