This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Conduct quality assurance and inspection activities for aerial fiber construction and splicing tasks.
• Ensure adherence to engineering standards, project specifications, FAA regulations, OSHA guidelines, and NESC clearance requirements.
• Analyze OTDR traces.
• Confirm splice losses and assess installation quality.
• Record deficiencies.
• Monitor corrective actions.
• Assist with project closeout documentation and government inspections.
• Contribute to the Army TEN-M program's telecommunications tower, antenna, and related technology development, engineering, and safety initiatives.
• Travel 25% to 50% while working remotely.
• Associate's degree; relevant years of experience may be accepted in place of a degree.
• Over 5 years of site quality control experience and familiarity with the mentioned responsibilities.
• At least 1 year of related experience.
• Knowledge or experience in field services.
• Proficiency in OSHA regulations.
• Understanding of OSHA compliance.
• Skills in quality analysis.
• Secret clearance is preferred.
• Must currently hold a Secret clearance or be eligible to obtain one.
• U.S. citizenship is required.
• Must live within a 50-mile radius of a major airport.
• Ability to travel 25% to 50%.
• Certifications: None required; OSHA certifications are preferred.
