This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Michigan.
• Provide outstanding service experiences to customers.
• Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams within Global Customer Support.
• Deliver both remote and on-site technical assistance for BD Pyxis automated dispensing systems in hospitals and healthcare facilities.
• Assess, evaluate, and prioritize incoming work orders.
• Diagnose, service, and resolve issues related to proprietary hardware and software.
• Take ownership of work orders and escalate issues to team leaders and managers as necessary.
• Record, track, and document all work order activities.
• Offer support for all products within the designated region.
• Implement preventive maintenance programs.
• Provide limited assistance to Sales and Implementation teams.
• Carry out installations, in-servicing, repairs, preventive maintenance, calibration, and sales support.
• Ensure accurate inventory management of small parts and adhere to inventory-control protocols.
• Document field activities, expenses, time allocation, and other required information.
• Engage in ongoing product and application training as well as self-development.
• High School diploma and 3 years of relevant field service experience.
• At least 3 years of combined Hardware/Software/IT experience supporting both proprietary and standard applications.
• Availability for 24x7 on-call duties in a customer-facing or field service setting.
• Strong mechanical, computer, verbal, written, and time management skills.
• Proficiency in computer electronics, Windows OS, and networking.
• Valid driver's license and adherence to BD's auto safety standards.
• Current immunizations and any additional facility-specific immunizations upon hiring, including Hepatitis B, Influenza, MMR, Varicella, annual TB/PPD, Tetanus/Diphtheria/Pertussis, and COVID-19.
• Capability to lift at least 70 pounds.
• Preferred: Associate Degree in Healthcare Technology or a related technical field.
• Preferred: Previous experience as a hospital pharmacy technician or in hospital Bio-Med.
• Preferred: Prior military Bio-Med experience.
• Preferred: Experience with Automated Teller Machines (ATM).
