This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Colorado, +1 more state.
• Conduct advanced troubleshooting and repair on designated equipment.
• Execute installation, validation, and maintenance on assigned equipment.
• Lead, instruct, and mentor junior Field Engineers; provide guidance and constructive feedback.
• Manage customer communications and act as the escalation point for customer-related issues, including installations.
• Take ownership of customer concerns from dispatch or identification through to resolution.
• Relay HQ and Zone or Area-level initiatives.
• Co-facilitate regular team or modality meetings as needed.
• Suggest value-added services to enhance customer operational efficiency.
• Keep customer service logs and internal service records; order repair parts and oversee cycle times.
• Utilize the GEHC escalation process and collaborate with regional and national support to execute corrective action plans.
• Participate as a member of the account community for key accounts and engage with commercial counterparts.
• Identify sales leads, engage in sales opportunities such as contract renewals, and support revenue initiatives.
• Foster customer relationships and enhance customer satisfaction through Service Excellence.
• Monitor competitor information and market trends.
• Work in conjunction with Commercial Sales teams and regional/zone leadership to facilitate business growth.
• Assist the Area Service Manager or Director of Service with growth and deployment strategies.
• Provide application training to clinical or scientific personnel on designated equipment when necessary.
• Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Biomedical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field, along with 4+ years of experience servicing electrical equipment; OR equivalent military education with 4+ years of experience servicing electrical equipment; OR a High School Diploma/GED with 8+ years of experience servicing electrical equipment.
• Proven experience interfacing with internal team members and external customers as part of a solution-oriented service process.
• Demonstrated experience in diagnosing and repairing mechanical, electromechanical, and/or electronic equipment.
• Experience in troubleshooting and addressing customer concerns.
• Familiarity with web applications and the Microsoft suite of products.
• Legal authorization to work in the U.S.; employment visa sponsorship is not available.
• Successful completion of GEHC’s standard background check, including a post-offer drug test.
• Compliance with customer access policies, including required immunizations and any additional drug tests or background checks when applicable.
• Capability to lift, carry, push, and pull up to 35 lbs. unassisted.
• Ability to frequently bend, stoop, twist, climb, crouch or squat, kneel or crawl, and sit and stand for extended periods.
• Proficiency in reaching at, above, and below shoulder level, flexing or extending the neck, and demonstrating good hand and finger dexterity.
• Willingness to be available after-hours and/or work a rotating on-call schedule, including weekends.
• Must possess a valid Driver’s License.
