This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Install, commission, maintain, and troubleshoot hardware equipment at both domestic and international customer locations.
• Lead the installation process from site preparation to post-installation validation.
• Conduct on-site mechanical and electrical maintenance, perform emergency repairs, implement modifications, and execute fault-finding activities.
• Build and nurture customer relationships while representing FloVision in a professional manner.
• Transform recurring field issues into scalable hardware enhancements.
• Collaborate with the hardware team on product improvements, new designs, prototypes, and research & development efforts.
• Create and modify mechanical and full-system designs utilizing SolidWorks or equivalent 3D modeling and CAD software.
• Develop and maintain technical documentation, including site findings, service records, maintenance procedures, bills of materials, fabrication drawings, assembly instructions, schematics, and wiring diagrams.
• Coordinate with engineering teams, vendors, and fabricators during installations and repairs.
• Support external manufacturing, component sourcing, hardware inventory management, and product-line ownership.
• Identify and implement internal process enhancements using AI and digital tools.
• Adhere to Quality, Health, Safety, and Environment standards.
• Participate in behavioral, technical, and final interviews via Google Meets.
• A Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Automation Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• A minimum of four years of experience in automation, controls, field engineering, or a similar industrial setting.
• Proficient in hands-on mechanical and electrical skills, including the installation, commissioning, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of equipment.
• Comfortable using common tools such as multimeters, hand tools, and power tools.
• Experience in programming and troubleshooting PLC and HMI systems.
• Proficient with SolidWorks or similar CAD software.
• Experience in creating and interpreting drawings, bills of materials, schematics, wiring diagrams, and assembly instructions.
• Strong problem-solving capabilities with the ability to implement practical solutions with limited supervision.
• Excellent computer literacy and a willingness to learn and utilize AI-enabled tools.
• Exceptional communication skills and the ability to collaborate with customers, remote engineers, and cross-functional teams.
• Willingness to travel approximately 75%, which may include international and occasional weekend trips.
• Valid driver's license and passport, or the ability to obtain them.
• Comfortable working in active food-production environments, which may involve exposure to cold temperatures, loud noise, biological materials, wet conditions, and physical demands.
