This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Texas.
• Recruit and place candidates for temporary, short-term, hourly, and high-volume staffing requirements.
• Oversee the recruitment process from sourcing to onboarding and placement.
• Develop and maintain an active pipeline of qualified candidates for temporary roles.
• Source candidates through platforms such as Indeed, LinkedIn, referrals, job boards, networking, and other recruitment avenues.
• Conduct interviews and screenings via phone, video, and in-person.
• Address staffing requests and prioritize urgent openings effectively.
• Communicate with candidates about assignments, schedules, locations, and start dates.
• Participate in hiring events, recruitment fairs, and facility-based recruitment activities as necessary.
• Cultivate relationships with facility leaders, hiring managers, and candidates.
• Keep candidate information and recruitment activities updated in Workday.
• Coordinate interviews, background checks, onboarding, and start dates.
• Monitor temporary staffing needs and assess candidate availability.
• Maintain comprehensive records of candidate status, placements, and assignments.
• Ensure candidates fulfill HHS hiring and employment criteria.
• Create innovative sourcing strategies and identify passive candidates.
• Sustain pipelines for recurring and high-demand positions.
• Provide hiring managers with updates regarding candidate availability and recruiting progress.
• Enhance temporary staffing recruitment and placement processes.
• Assist in career fairs, community outreach, hiring events, and recruitment initiatives.
• Advocate for HHS culture, career opportunities, and growth prospects to potential candidates.
• 2–5 years of experience in recruiting or staffing preferred.
• Previous experience recruiting for hourly, temporary, contract, or high-volume positions preferred.
• Capability to manage multiple open positions and urgent staffing requests.
• Strong skills in sourcing, screening, and candidate development.
• Familiarity with an Applicant Tracking System; experience with Workday is preferred.
• Excellent communication and relationship-building abilities.
• Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and adapt to changing priorities.
• Capacity to thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-oriented environment.
• Willingness to travel between HHS facilities as required.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation are mandatory for facility travel.
• Experience in healthcare, hospitality, senior living, EVS, culinary, food service, or other service sectors.
• Previous experience in temporary staffing or agency recruiting.
• Experience recruiting across multiple locations or business units.
• Proficiency with Workday, LinkedIn Recruiter, Indeed, or other recruiting platforms.
• Experience managing high-volume candidate pipelines.
• Experience supporting hiring events and community recruiting initiatives.
