
Temporary Intern – Technical Project Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Oversee projects related to Infrastructure
• Support teams with their daily tasks
• Collaborate with Research & Development and Client Implementations teams to execute client-focused projects
• Enhance the efficiency of work management processes for the effective delivery of Infrastructure requests
• Monitor hardware acquisitions through internal finance procedures until equipment is delivered
• Report to the Project Management Lead and be accountable to the VP of Infrastructure
• Address and/or escalate issues promptly
• Evaluate team outputs prior to client submission
• Alleviate team conflicts and communication challenges
• Collaborate with senior management to outline project scope, critical path, goals, and deliverables
• Design and implement project work plans, adjusting them as necessary
• Create comprehensive project plans and communication documents, identifying resources and assigning/tracking responsibilities
• Keep project status documents updated and conduct regular status meetings
• Inspire the team and document and share lessons learned
• Define, document, and implement Cotiviti methodology while enforcing project standards
• Ensure project documentation is complete, current, and securely stored
• Prepare for engagement reviews and maintain quality assurance processes
• Reduce project exposure and risk while identifying areas for improvement
• Fulfill annual Performance Plan responsibilities and complete assigned special projects
• Bachelor’s degree in a STEM-related field such as Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related technical discipline
• Over 5 years of experience in information technology and enterprise-level project management
• Certification in project management (PMI, PMP) or equivalent experience
• Understanding of both theoretical and practical elements of project management, SCRUM, and agile software development methodologies
• Demonstrated experience in management, planning, risk assessment and mitigation, and change control
• Capability to manage multiple projects and meetings in a dynamic environment with both internal and external teams
• Experience overseeing project life cycle from initial proof of concept to approval, development, delivery, and implementation
• Strong written and verbal communication skills complemented by excellent interpersonal abilities
• Capability to coordinate with stakeholders outside the team, facilitating resolution of issues and risks
• Proficient oral and written communication skills
• Ability to execute daily tasks with minimal or no direct supervision
• Must be able to provide a dedicated, secure workspace
• Must ensure high-speed internet access/connectivity and manage office setup and maintenance
